Shipping News: January Delay
![]() |
Winter Shipping Delays-It doesn’t happen often, but we sometimes experience a delay in our expected shipping date. At times the weather or the harvest just doesn’t work on our timetable. But we have to bend to nature, and we’ll be pushing our shipping date back one week. Here’s the info: – All orders, including Farm Share boxes, are now scheduled to ship on Monday, February 3rd. – The tangerine harvest has not gone as expected. Quantities may be limited, but we won’t know until after this weekend. – Customers will be notified next week if we are unable to fulfill tangerine orders. We guarantee all of our fruit and of course will provide a full refund if we cannot fulfill your order. – We expect all orders for Honeybells, grapefruit, Shiranuis, and Farm Share boxes to be fulfilled. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but we look forward to bringing you the best of the winter season! Why is there an issue with the tangerines? During the previous hurricane season, our tangerine grove was directly hit by Hurricane Milton. This resulted in an immediate loss of 30-40% of the tangerine crop. Despite this loss, it appeared that the remaining fruit would survive. However, as we approached the harvest time, it became apparent that was not the case. We’re working hard to be able to harvest enough tangerines to fulfill all of our orders because we love the ‘Juicy Crunch’ tangerine and want you to get them! |
