It Started With Better Fruit
After spending time in Florida, our founder saw something he couldn’t ignore. The fruit there was vibrant, fresh, and full of flavor. Back home in the Midwest, it was a completely different story.
At the time, getting high-quality citrus meant ordering by mail, often at prices that made it unrealistic for most families. So in 1990, Tree-Ripe Fruit Co. was born out of a simple idea. What if we could bring truly fresh, tree-ripened fruit to the Midwest quickly, and make it accessible?
What started with just a few locations quickly grew as customers came back asking for more. That demand led to something even more important. Building relationships with farmers across the country who cared as much about quality as we did.
Today, more than 35 years later, we’re still doing exactly that.
Three Generations Strong
What started with my grandfather didn’t stop there.
Today, Tree-Ripe Fruit Co. is led by the third generation of our family, continuing the same hands-on approach and commitment to quality that built it in the first place.
We still work directly with growers, still focus on getting fruit to you at its peak, and still believe that every detail matters. Because when something has been built over decades, you don’t take shortcuts. You take care of it.
That’s what it means to carry this forward.

For over 35 years, Tree-Ripe Fruit Co. has been bringing incredible fruit directly to customers. We believe food should be eaten when it’s in season, and every season has something worth waiting for.
Picked for flavor, not shelf life
Most fruit is picked early so it can travel. Ours is picked when it’s ready, when it actually tastes the way it should.
We work directly with growers
We don’t go through layers of distribution. We build relationships with the farms and bring their fruit straight to you.
Timed with the season
We go where the fruit is best, when it’s best. The fruit changes with the season, and that’s exactly why it tastes better.
The fruit is exceptional!
I discovered Tree-Ripe in 2020 and have been amazed at the consistent quality ever since. I look forward to the California Cara Cara oranges every season, and the Georgia peaches are just as incredible.
Their New Mexico pistachios and Georgia pecans bring me back to growing up in Arizona. Now living in Illinois, I still get to enjoy those same flavors.
