A Closer Look
Our Oregon pear mix features varieties that are rarely grown on a large scale, including Warren and Comice. Even familiar varieties such as Bosc and D’Anjou taste noticeably better when they’re allowed to mature naturally on the tree and are harvested at their peak.
Each 4 lb bag includes a rotating mix of Bosc, Comice, D’Anjou (red and green), and Warren pears. The exact blend changes with each harvest, reflecting the natural rhythm of the season. This smaller size is ideal for snacking, salads, baking, and enjoying fresh winter fruit without committing to a full box.
Grown by small-batch growers in Hood River, Oregon, near the foothills of Mount Hood, these pears benefit from the region’s cool climate and careful orchard practices. The result is a refined flavor, tender texture, and consistent quality that make this mix a winter favorite.
