At Tree-Ripe Fruit Co., we’re committed to delivering the freshest fruit possible.
Here’s what you need to know about how we ship:
GENERAL INFORMATION
Our fruit is harvested to order, which means you may not receive your order immediately after placing it. We accept pre-orders and deliver your fruit as soon as it’s ready.
All products listed in our online store include shipment dates. When your purchase ships, we’ll email you a shipping confirmation.
Most deliveries are in transit for 1-2 days. All packages ship Monday through Wednesday to ensure delivery before the weekend. Orders received by Wednesday will ship the following Monday. Orders received after Wednesday will ship the Monday after that.
While we ship to ensure weekend delivery, weather conditions may cause delays. Expected temperatures below 30°F or extreme heat on the delivery day could postpone shipment. We highly recommend tracking your delivery, as fresh fruit can be damaged by extreme temperatures. For best results, we encourage shipping to an address where someone can accept delivery—like a neighbor, relative, or workplace.
We do our best to accommodate fruit size requests. However, if your requested size is unavailable, we’ll ship the next closest size unless you instruct us otherwise. We’re limited by what’s being harvested at the time. For example, if large grapefruit are unavailable, we’ll ship medium grapefruit instead.
We reserve the right to correct incorrect prices in printed or electronic publications. Prices and products are subject to change without notice.
Due to USDA regulations, certain products cannot be shipped to certain states (e.g., Arizona and California). We reserve the right to cancel orders that apply.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES
We work hard to keep shipping and handling charges to a minimum. In the Midwest, we partner with Spee-Dee Delivery Service, Inc. Outside the Spee-Dee delivery zone, we use UPS, FedEx, and USPS.
We reserve the right to choose the carrier. All orders are shipped based on weight and destination. Once you enter your shipping address, you’ll see the shipping and handling charges.
DAMAGED PACKAGES
Our highest priority is ensuring you receive your order in perfect condition. If your package is damaged during transit, please contact our customer service team at 888-TREE-RIPE (873-3747) or via email at [email protected]. We guarantee all purchases and will replace any packages damaged in transit.
Please double-check all addresses carefully. Many carriers will not forward packages or deliver to PO boxes.
