Citrus FAQ

Store citrus in the refrigerator or somewhere cool, but do not let them freeze. Citrus can remain fresh for six to eight weeks.

All citrus we deliver is ripe & ready to eat. Citrus tastes best at room temperature, so let your citrus warm up on the counter before eating!

We set up Fruit Stops at convenient locations throughout the Midwest.

Absolutely! Everything we sell is backed by our 100% quality guarantee. We’re confident you’ll love what you receive, but if you’re not completely happy, just let us know.

Farming is never without its challenges, and we always want to make it right. Simply email us at [email protected], and we’ll gladly arrange a replacement or refund.

Most of our citrus is non-GMO and grown using conventional farming methods. Our partner farms use minimal treatments to protect their crops and work hard to exceed safety standards for any applications that may be used as a last resort. Many of our growers practice Integrated Pest Management (IPM), a proactive and environmentally sensitive approach to pest control.

Each spring, we’re proud to offer certified organic Meyer lemons, available for home delivery only.

We carefully research and select the farms we partner with, choosing growers who produce exceptional-tasting fruit while cultivating sustainable practices that care for their land and their teams, whether organic or conventional.

Our spring lineup comes from sunny California! We proudly partner with Suntreat Citrus, a family-founded company with over 60 years in the citrus industry. Founded by brothers Harry and John Griffith, Suntreat began with a farm and nursery and has grown into an exceptional citrus-growing operation rooted in quality and care.

Our certified organic Meyer lemons are lovingly grown by Dickinson Family Farms in Southern California.

You can order spring citrus for Home Delivery through our online shop, or visit us at one of our in-person fruit stops! Check our schedule to find your hometown location, date, and time.

We pack in oversized boxes on purpose as it helps protect your fruit during transit. Even if it doesn’t look packed to the brim, you’re still getting the full amount of fruit you ordered. If you have concerns about quantity, please reach out via our contact form or email us at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to help.
