Blueberry Syrup

  • 2 Cup Tree-Ripe Fruit Co. Michigan blueberries
  • 1 Cup water
  • 1 Cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/8 Tsp Kosher Salt
  • ½ Tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  1. Add water, sugar, kosher salt, blueberries to a pot and bring to a boil. Turn the heat down to a simmer, cook until blueberries begin to break apart, about 10 minutes. Cook longer if thicker syrup is desired.
  2. Add vanilla and lemon juice, strain through a cheese cloth lined mesh strainer.
  3. Cool for one hour and store in refrigerator for up to two weeks.
