Seek out the best fruit around the country and bring it to our customers within days of harvest.

A Closer Look

Our Oregon pear mix features varieties that are rarely grown on a large scale, including Warren and Comice. Even with familiar varieties like Bosc and D’Anjou, you’ll taste the difference when pears are allowed to mature naturally on the tree and are harvested at their peak.

Each box includes a mix of Bosc, Comice, D’Anjou (red and green), and Warren pears. The exact blend varies with each harvest, reflecting the natural rhythm of the season. Our pears are packed by count, and weights are approximate. What stays consistent is the quality: crisp, sweet, and tender fruit grown by small-batch growers in Hood River, Oregon, near the foothills of Mount Hood.

The cool mountain climate and careful, small-orchard handling give these pears a refined flavor and smooth texture, perfect for winter snacking, baking, and seasonal recipes.

Not as good as previous years. Some varieties were still hard more than two weeks later. The fruit was decent but a letdown from other years.

A few of the pears had a mealy dry texture. Others were beginning to rot on the inside but looked nice on the outside. One pear was bruised but not noticeable until it ripened. Not the quality I've received in the past. Recognize it's hard to know what's inside the fruit....
