Something Sweet From Michigan

We’re so happy to release a new product, available for purchase on our summer fruit truck routes starting this week!  Tree-Ripe Fruit Co. is proud to partner with another wonderful family farm, doing what they do best! In Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, the Schindler family has been growing and producing 100% organic Grade A Maple Syrup for over 100 years. You can taste the difference in the care and attention given to the land, the trees, and the old-fashioned wood fire production of this delicious syrup!

Our syrup is harvested from old growth maple trees that have been groomed for over a century in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.  The Schindler family purchased 40 acres of land for $5 in 1913, and three generations later, are harvesting syrup from 400 acres of sugar camp!

This syrup is cooked down over a wood fire, giving you authentic, old-world flavor. Try it on your pancakes, waffles, french toast, or anywhere you’d use sugar: coffee, deserts, etc. It also works well in savory dishes like baked sweet potatoes and as a part of your marinade or dressing!

Enjoy!

Our summer truck season is under way! Head to our fruit stop page for all the deets. Available summer products: Peaches, Michigan blueberries, Georgia pecans, and New Mexico pistachios.
